Innovative Conference Expo Format Drives 110% Revenue Increase for Engage Business Media

Objective

Break conventional boundaries by introducing a new and engaging conference format, designed to excite sponsors and attendees, all the while boosting sponsor’s participation and enhancing returns.

The Partnership

Engage Business Media has collaborated closely with Conference Expo since 2016, hosting up to 9 events annually in various venues in London. Seeking to innovate their traditional conference format, Engage Business Media aimed to refresh their approach. While their previous events were successful, they desired to expand their market reach and inject an element of excitement by breaking away from conventional conference norms, opting for a dynamic and exciting atmosphere.

The Transition

Engage Business Media transitioned away from the conventional hotel conference suite and worked with the Conference Expo team to relaunch the expo area of their events. This incorporated more of Conference Expo’s stand packages, to appeal to a wider catchment of sponsors, whilst relocating to The Brewery in London. This strategic move was aimed at accommodating the new conference format of reducing event volume whilst generating a better return.

The challenging nature of these events demands an adaptable, responsive approach from Conference Expo’s construction team, who often work overnight to ensure the exhibition halls are prepared ahead of schedule.

The Offerings

Offering three of the six-tier options to sponsors (including the popular Graphene stand) Engage Business Media were able to present a pleasant layout of stands to sponsors and offer a larger and improved area for refreshments, all with the return of improved revenue.

Seamless Event Management

Our online event portal enabled sponsors to upgrade stand packages and upload artwork, whilst we coordinated and managed deadlines ensuring a seamless event experience, all facilitated by a dedicated Conference Expo Project Manager.

Enhanced Sponsor Experience

The event sponsors also took full advantage of Conference Expo’s versatile bolt-on options available, to further enhance and differentiate their stand look. Ranging from poseur tables, larger screens, integrated demo bench and A4 literature holders (to name a few), the bolt-on options supported the professional finish across the conference floor without diminishing the continuity of the stands.

Our turnkey solution provides the exhibitor at the event with a hassle-free process; simply turn up when the event starts and leave when it finishes without the need to set up or break down!

The Results

Engage Business Media’s innovative collaboration with Conference Expo since 2016 has redefined traditional conference formats, leading to a 110% revenue increase in 2023 compared to 2022.

This surge was attributed to the improved format, enabling the organiser to attract a higher number of sponsors to the events, particularly through the popular Graphene tier. Graphene, alongside Conference Expo’s range of stand tiers, offers various customisable options to cater to the unique needs of each sponsor. Engage Business Media achieved an increase in sponsor sales by leveraging the credibility of the format and enhancing the floor plan layout.
